Following on from the previous section, we continue to share safety knowledge of unpowered rides

6, unpowered amusement facilities must strengthen children's fall protection measures: standing surface above the play plane 600mm must provide fences. The height from the platform surface, staircase or ramp to the top of the fence is at least 700mm. The fence should not have horizontal or approximately horizontal bars except for the top, and children will try to use these bars as steps to climb. The design of the top of the fence cannot allow children to stand or sit on it, nor can there be any gaps that encourage climbing.


7. Dimension positioning of the swing:
7.1, away from the main product of the swing chair and the bottom end of the column distance requirements: 1/5x chain length + 20cm
7.2, the swing chair near the main product and the distance of the end of the pillar requirements: 1/5x chain length + 20cm + 150cm
7.3, the distance between the two swing chairs: 1/5x chain length + 30cm
7.4, the stability of the swing seat: the distance between the suspension elements is F, where F ≥5% x chain length + G (the length of the swing board) 

7.5. Safe area of the swing:
        For all swings, the impact absorption surface length is calculated as follows: the distance between the points reached by the swing seat's center of gravity in the horizontal direction when the swing seat swings at a 60° angle plus a fixed additional length determined by the surface structure of the swing. In the case where the impact absorption surface is flush with the surrounding area (generally artificial), the fixed additional length is 1.75 m, and the fixed additional length is 2.25 m in the case of loose filler [see Figure D.7a)]. The length of the impact absorption surface is in the swing with predictability

A is 0.867 × (strong − h3 )
B is 1.75m for horizontal impact absorption surfaces (generally artificial)
C is 2.25m for embedded impact absorbing surfaces (usually loose fillers)
D is the maximum free fall height
The calculation formula is: safe zone of the swing = (0.867 × (strong − h3 )) + 1.75 or 2.25

8. Closed sliding barrel: The diameter of the pipe sliding barrel must be greater than Ф750mm

9. The walking surface shall not be subject to the risk of clamping

The equipment should pay attention to the following situations when designing to avoid the occurrence of clamping:
a) A completely enclosed rigid opening on the plane where the child is running or climbing
b) Foot supports and hand supports that protrude from these planes.
Note: In the case of b), the foot and ankle may be seriously injured when the user falls.

        In the plane of running, walking should not be a gap that is likely to cause the foot or leg to roll. The clearance in the direction of walking must not exceed 30 mm (measured from the direction of walking). (See Figure 13)
This requirement does not apply to planes with a level greater than 450.
